Shopping Woes

It’s that time of year again. My daughter has outgrown, dogged, and misplaced half of her clothes and shoes. Her uniforms look like they were used for the Battle at Gettysburg and I can’t take it. So I called myself going to look for a few things to carry her over until summer and guess how fun that was (insert sarcastic smirk here). 

The closet mall to us is Springfield Mall so that is where we went. My go to stores for her are Crazy 8, Target, and Gap. I didn’t have too many issues finding clothing for her, but when it came to shoes nothing. We tried all the above mentioned shoes, in addition to Journeys for Kids and the shoe factory. We found a really cool pair of denim type Vans, but of course the sizes didn’t suit her. Apparently she wears a 1 and 1/2!

After spending almost 3hrs in the mall and not leaving with what I wanted I am annoyed and disappointed. This is why I shop online, anyway. All the store clerks kept saying, “We don’t have your size, but we’ll ship them to your home for free.” Nooooo…how about you carry more sizes in store. For the sake of the American economy!

This rant is brought to you by an angry consumer quickly losing faith in the future of store fronts.
